I am a lawyer with a wide range of interests. My legal education has equipped me with knowledge of several different systems of law. At the undergraduate level (LLB), my legal training was in a hybrid system of  Civil Law (based on the French system) and Islamic Law. My graduate training has been in international law, and U.S. law. I have also relied heavily on comparative law in my research, teaching, and work. I have had the good fortune to travel extensively and experience many different cultures. I continue to benefit from the wisdom and friendship of amazing individuals around the world.
